Sometimes the days of our lives are sad.  My mother, Genevieve Givens LaBass, died on the morning of March 14, 2016.  Just three weeks before that our daughter, Nanette, died.  So here is a very special picture of them together. 

Heaven just got prettier and sweeter.

In late February, we were returning to Yuma from Idaho and drove by the new Provo Tabernacle Temple.  Just had to take a picture.  When we were in college some 45 years ago in Provo, I would walk to work to the Penneys store which was right next door.  I walked past this beautiful building every day that I worked.  It had a big grassy area on the right side of the building, and on snowy days, I could not help myself from making a fox and geese game in the snow.  I could just never find anyone to play fox and geese with me. 

We also held our stake conferences in this building.
